During Autumn the South Coast celebrates with a host of seaside festivals and events that keeps everybody happy!
There’s music and madness … parades and performances in towns and villages along the coast. From sculptures on the sand at Thirroul Seaside Festival to the tantalizing tastes at Narooma’s Oyster festival there’s so much to experience. It’s time for a See Change Arts Festival at Jervis Bay, Ulladulla’s famous Blessing of the Fleet presents a day of rich Italian tradition and soak up the natural beauty of the south coast at Moruya’s River of Art celebrations.
Don’t miss Tilba’s Easter Festival, set amongst century old buildings where the emphasis is on fun, laughter, magic and mystique. There’s plenty to keep the kids occupied during the holidays - check out our Awesome Adventures (page 7) and enter the competitions to win some great prizes.

Autumn is the perfect time to visit galleries and exhibitions all along the coast.
Articles Fine Art Gallery at Stanwell Park is excited to present the works of artist Robert Dickerson AO in celebration of his 90th birthday. Opening April 5, the exhibition runs until the 13th.

Wollongong Art Gallery presents 'Postcards from the Edge and a diverse range of works during Autumn. From May 10 till June 28 visitors to the Shoalhaven City Arts Centre in Nowra can enjoy viewing the annual Archibald Prize, Australia's favourite portrait prize.
Celebrating Creativity in Currarong, Beecroft and Jervis Bay, the bi-annual Currarong Art Show runs from 18 - 21 April between 2 & 5pm daily. Admission is free and all the works will be for sale. Hosted by Jervis Bay and Basin Arts Inc, the 2014 Seechange Winter Arts Festival runs from May 16 through to June 9 and features the rich talent of over 100 visual artists, writers, musicians, dancers as well as circus street performers. The recently opened Stephanie Burns Fine Art gallery in Milton focuses on paintings and designer wares by Sephanie and paintings by Heidi Yardley, Tiffany Titshall and others.The Millhouse Art exhibition and sale is very much part of the Easter celebrations in Ulladulla and this year will be held at the new Civic Centre just opposite Ulladulla Harbour from April 16 to April 27. It's quirky! It's fun! More importantly, it's about recycling! Created by Shoalhaven City Council Waste Services, the Lloyd Rees in Textiles exhibition reflects an alternative way of thinking, Waste Services focusing on what can be created by recycling textiles, rather than what ends up in landfill. Works will be on display at the Alley Gallery, Dunn Lewis Centre in Ulladulla till April 10.Don't miss the Fabulous Threads Exhibition in Ulladulla over the long weekend June 7 and 8. Visitors are especially welcome to this year's event in the function centre at the Ex-Servos Club, south Ulladulla. The exhibition will open from 10am to 4pm.

Meroogal Women's Arts Prize

Winter Wine Festival
The Shoalhaven Coast wine growing region, stretching from Kiama to Bawley Point on the south Coast of NSW, has flourished over the past 20 years. The Coast's wine trail meanders through luscious green valleys and overlooks some of the country's most pristine beaches. It is one of the few regions in Australia where visitors have the unique experience of meeting vignerons and wine makers at cellar doors.
