MORUYA IN THE HEART OF THE EUROBODALLA

Moruya is a bustling rural town located on the picturesque Moruya River. It's a great base for your exploration of the Nature Coast and the gateway to the scenic wonders of the Deua National Park and the Araluen Valley and close to many beautiful beaches. around South and North Head. The Moruya, River provides ideal riverbank parks for family picnics.

Moruya's museum has wonderful exhibits and information about Moruya's rich shipping, dairying and gold mining history. The granite used in the pylons of the Sydney Harbour Bridge was quarried in Moruya -many of the town's beautiful old buildings are made from the local stone.

Wander the country markets on a Saturday morning and don't miss the antique shop and second hand stores.

The Moruya Jazz Festival is held annually and festivities are held in October - Book now for a great weekend away. Several venues from parklands to clubs and hotels will feature traditional, swing, dixieland, big band, contemporary and mainstrean styles.There's a street parade, free breakfast, music in the streets, a park fair, quilt display and jazz gospel service.
