Historic town of TilbaNational Trust township of Tilba

Tilba Tilba and Central Tilba, just north from Cobargo, are historic, gold mining, dairy and cheese towns. These National Trust townships are surrounded by lush, volcanic farmlands, pristine rainforests, beautiful lakes and beaches and the Aboriginal sacred sites on ‘Goolaga’ (Mt Dromedary) where Aboriginal ceremonies are still performed.

The historic village of Tilba has its exciting and colourful celebration ever Easter. With a crowds of up to 10,000 enjoying the fun and entertainment. The festival has become one of the most popular on the coast. The day¹s line up includes live music from four stages, comic theatre, hilarious games, prizes, craft demonstrations, fine art, market stalls and lots of yummy food!

The festival is proud to be a non-profit community project for the happiness of all who attend, so put on your dancing shoes, join in the tradition of wearing a fancy dress costume and get prepared for a memorable experience! For more information phone 4473 7233.
