Award Winning
Coolangatta Estate Wines
The first grapes on
the south coast were grown at Coolangatta Estate by
Alexander Berry in the mid 1880's, but it was only in
1988 that the potential was seen to develop a winery
which would expand the estate's tourism facilities and
begin to re-establish the Shoalhaven as a wine growing
area.
Varieties now include the whites; Chardonnay, Verdelho,
Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon and reds; Cabernet
Sauvignon, Shiraz, Merlot and Chambourcin. Coolangatta
Estate is the largest Shoalhaven Vineyard, producing
5,000 cases of wine annually. In the last four years
Coolangatta Estate has won 64 Awards at National &
Regional Wine Shows.

The estate's 'Cellar Door'
sales area is open for wine an cheese tasting, sales,
lunch and Devonshire teas, from 10am to 4pm daily and as
a leading winery with award winning wines - definitely
not be missed!
